Zayvier's Chicken Chase is in memory of Zayvier Michael Barnes, whom we lost in November 2012 at the age of 9 following a tragic car accident. He was a caring boy with a big heart and touched many lives during his short time on earth.
One of his favorite “holidays” was the Eleva Broiler Fest. Please join us for our run/walk to keep his memory alive and to help make something good come from something bad.
Thanks to the incredible support of many sponsors, donors and participants as well as a grant from KaBoom, the Memorial Park Renovation Project has been completed!
Thanks to everyone who helped complete the first phase of our Memorial Park (located between First Avenue and West Stebins Street near the heart of Eleva) renovation project. Your continued support allows us to make sure that Zayvier’s Chicken Chase is more than just a race!

Make your permanent mark on Memorial Trail by purchasing a personalized brick that will be placed in a special area next to the trail. Personalization can be in memory of your loved one, in honor of someone special, your own name or your business logo. Go here to personalize a brick or click here to learn more.
Thanks to everyone who contributed and supported our efforts to complete Memorial Trail behind Eleva Lake Park!
We are so pleased to have this new 3/4 mile trail for walking, running and snowshoeing around the Eleva Broiler Festival grounds. The views at the top of the hill are well worth the effort to get there and there is a special spot to relax and remember with benches and a perfect spot for a picnic overlooking all of Eleva.
